This term aims to guarantee for a period of 5 years, counting from the date of issuance of the purchase invoice, the quality of the Electrical Surge Protection Device - DPS, against manufacturing defects that may affect the integrity or functionality of the product. .


For products that present defects or different characteristics from the product purchased within 7 (seven) calendar days after receipt, the product will be immediately replaced.

After 7 calendar days of delivery of the product, it must be submitted to the Embrastec Technical Assistance Center for evaluation and subsequent return to the customer. Any information regarding the product (storage, transportation, location and method of installation, among others) may be requested. Analysis and feedback to the customer will be carried out within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of the product.


Exchanges will only be made for products that present manufacturing defects.

The following are not covered by Embrastec's warranty:


  • Inappropriate use of the product.

  • Natural wear and tear due to use.

  • Products that have been tampered with or subjected to repairs by unauthorized persons.

  • Installation in conditions or characteristics different from those indicated in the manual or technical sheet.

  • Problems caused by transportation. It is essential to check the material upon receipt and if any occurrence is found, the material must be returned to the manufacturer and the justification for refusal must be recorded in writing on the back of the DANFE.

  • DPS actuated or burned by atmospheric discharge, power surge or overvoltage. In these cases, the DPS is sacrificed to protect the circuit or equipment.

  • Any other problem arising from themisuse by the customer.


For exchanges when:

Physical person: Send the material to EMBRASTEC or to the place where the product was purchased, along with a copy of the purchase invoice.

Legal person: Issue a repair shipping invoice or return invoice. Along with the product, send a brief report of the problem.



The return period is up to 7 (seven) calendar days from receipt of the product. In this case, the customer will be reimbursed the full purchase price, according to the invoice.



Shipping will be the responsibility of Embrastec only when manufacturing defects are found. Otherwise, shipping will be borne by the customer.

The product must be sent in the original packaging or similar packaging, sealed, protected and accompanied by all components. It is essential to send the invoice with the product.
