Embrastec gPV fuses are electrical safety devices that operate to provide overcurrent and short circuit protection for your photovoltaic installation.

Its operation is by a wire or strip of metal that melts when a very high current flows through it, stopping or interrupting the current. It is a sacrificial device: once a fuse has operated, it is an open circuit and must be replaced.

Embrastec has fuses for 1000Vdc with currents of 15A, 20A and 25A and for 1500Vdc with currents of 15A and 20A.
